The art of sewing has been lost for a time now, as mass production became faster and cheaper. I've always enjoyed the time and detail required to create a beautiful piece of clothing. From choosing a pattern to deciding on the fabric and then carefully sewing each piece together with precision to make a gorgeous end product. It has become my stress release, my quiet time, sitting at my machine after a long day and then seeing the fruits of my time and effort.

Seamstresses are becoming harder to find, which is part of the reason why I wanted to begin this endeavor of creating a children's boutique. My mother and grandmothers sewed all through my youth, from quilts and home items to dresses and attire for myself and my cousins. I still have many of the pieces they made and I've enjoyed watching my daughter wear some of them or continuing to see them displayed in my home and my parents. I wanted to create pieces that others would cherish and enjoy, perhaps even pass down to siblings, relatives, or friends. It brings me great joy seeing the happiness my customers have after receiving their orders.

And the ultimate reward, seeing the happy faces of the littles wearing my creations!
